Southwest MLS (SWMLS), which serves about 4,300 real estate professionals in the Albuquerque, New Mexico, area, has announced a new partnership with Property Shield.

The fraud detection platform will help safeguard participating members from fraudulent listings and rental scams. Its tools will be offered as a free member benefit.

"Southwest MLS is a forward-thinking organization that understands the critical importance of protecting their market," Property Shield CEO Alex Fahsel said in a news release. "This partnership will have a meaningful impact on the Albuquerque real estate community, helping agents protect their professional reputation while ensuring consumers are safeguarded from increasingly sophisticated fraud schemes."

Teri Hatcher, 2026 SWMLS president, said the partnership "demonstrates our commitment to protecting both our members and the consumers they serve," adding that SWMLS is "proud to lead on consumer protection in Albuquerque."

With the addition of SWMLS, Property Shield said its network now encompasses more than 90,000 real estate professionals nationwide.

ORRA offers new healthcare options

The Orlando Regional Realtor Association (ORRA) has selected PeopleOne Health to offer healthcare benefits to its members.

ORRA, which has more than 18,000 members in central Florida, said in a news release that providing these new healthcare options will help the organization support agents. That support now goes beyond agents' careers by making it easier for them to stay healthy and focus on serving their clients and communities.

"This partnership is more than a new benefit; it's a reflection of our values," said Lawrence Bellido, president of ORRA. "When Realtors feel healthy and feel supported, everything else becomes possible — their business grows, their relationships thrive, and their impact multiplies."

Agents "work tirelessly for others, and they deserve a healthcare benefit that works just as hard for them," PeopleOne Health CEO Jordan Taradash added. "By partnering with ORRA, we're helping Realtors stay healthy, resilient, and empowered, so they can continue to serve their clients and community without putting their wellbeing on the backburner."

PeopleOne Health's plans cover most of the healthcare costs that an average person incurs in a year, according to the release. ORRA members who are interested in exploring their options can enroll now.
